About Us

The LBSL Global Research Consortium is led by U.S.-based, patient advocacy group “A Cure for Ellie.” Since 2012, “A Cure for Ellie” has helped fund research into Leukoencephalopathy with Brainstem and Spinal Cord Involvement and Lactate Elevation (LBSL). Our consortium consists of researchers from around the globe who are actively engaged in LBSL (DARS2) translational research.
